Evaluate
This session will provide time and space to dedicate to thinking about, designing and developing plans for a project to evaluate the implementation and impact of updated assessments, activities or programme/module designs.

Aims for the session
The aims for the session are to give you time, space and support to have:
- thought in depth and identified what aspect of your learning and teaching you would like to explore for your evaluation project.
- developed your understanding of Theory of Change and what SMART impact aims are.
- applied your knowledge to develop SMART impact aims and outcomes for what you would like to evaluate.
- designed the activities that will enable achieving the outcomes and impact.
- identified measurables that can be used to understand whether the outcomes and impact have been successfully achieved.
- identified the tools that will be used to understand whether implementation had taken place as planned and what participants thought of the changes.
- started a draft of an evaluation plan ready for to submit your ethics application.

This session is designed for anyone who wishes to design an evaluation project with the aim of understanding and enhancing learning and teaching at Durham University.
